Refund Policy
We want you to feel safe buying Dottpace. This policy explains when you can get a refund and how to ask for one. Paddle, our Merchant of Record, processes all payments and refunds.
Your 14-day refund
- New subscriptions: if you ask within 14 days of the first payment for a new subscription, we'll refund that payment in full. This applies to both monthly and yearly plans.
- Yearly renewals: if you ask within 14 days of a yearly renewal payment, we'll refund that renewal in full.
- Monthly renewals aren't refunded. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date.
The 14-day refund applies even if you've already started using Dottpace. The refund for a first payment applies once per customer.
When we refund a payment, the subscription it paid for ends and your access stops. If you had the founding discount, it ends too.
How to ask for a refund
- Email [email protected] from the address you used to buy, and include the order number from your Paddle receipt if you have it; or
- use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or find your order at paddle.net and ask for a refund there.
You don't need to give a reason, though we'd like to hear what didn't work for you.
How refunds are processed
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so Paddle processes your refund to the original payment method, including any tax you were charged. After the refund is issued, your bank or card provider may take several business days to show it.
Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Where this policy gives you more than they do, we'll ask Paddle to refund you in line with this policy.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in your account settings, or through Paddle with the link in your receipt or at paddle.net. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it doesn't refund the current period. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, your account stays available, read-only, for 30 days so you can export your data.
After 14 days
After the 14-day window, payments aren't refundable, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time, including when you cancel or move to a smaller plan partway through a billing period. The only exceptions are where the law requires a refund, and the case in our Terms where we stop offering Dottpace and refund prepaid fees for the time after it ends.
If a problem on our side stops you from using Dottpace and we can't fix it, write to us. We'll look at your case fairly.
